Why the two complaints usualy arrive together
Anxiety about losing the erection creates urgency. Urgency brings things to an early end. The early end then takes the erection with it, and the anxiety is reinforced for next time.

What sildenafil handles

MAO inhibitors, thioridazine, linezolid, lithium, St John's wort and other antidepressants of the SSRI or SNRI type are incompatible, with weeks of separation required around an MAO inhibitor.
How do you take it?
One tablet one to three hours before sex with a full glass of water. The lead time belongs to the dapoxetine component, which needs longer than sildenafil does.

What side effects come from each half?
Sildenafil: headache, flushing, blocked nose, heartburn, occasionally visual changes.
Dapoxetine: nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, insomnia, sometimes diarrhoea or irritability. The light-headedness on standing is the one that puts men on the floor.
What must never be taken alongside
Nitrate medicines — nitroglycerin, isosorbide mononitrate, molsidomine — plus riociguat and poppers. The two act on the same mechanism, and the combined drop in blood pressure can be fatal rather than merely unpleasant.
This is not a precaution that scales with dose. It applies to the smallest tablet as much as the largest, and it has no safe interval.
Alcohol deserves a seperate warning here
Dapoxetine and alcohol amplify each other's effect on blood pressure and balance. The chance of fainting rises noticeably, and that is how people end up with injuries that have nothing to do with sex.
Water that evening. It is a small sacrifice for a few hours.
When this tablet is ruled out
Heart disease, heart failure, conduction disorders, recent heart attack or stroke. A history of fainting, epilepsy, mania or severe depression. Severe liver impairment.

What the tablet does not reach
Early ejaculation nearly always has a psychological component. Medication removes urgency and lowers the stakes, but it does not undo a learned pattern.
