How the four compare

If erections are your only difficulty, a single-ingredient tablet means one risk profile instead of two. There is nothing to gain from the second drug.
The rule that has no exceptions
Nitrates and PDE5 inhibitors must never be combined. Nitroglycerin spray or tablets, isosorbide mononitrate, molsidomine, riociguat, and poppers. Both open vessels through the same pathway, and together blood pressure can fall far enough to collapse the circulation.
No interval between doses makes it safe. If you carry a nitrate spray for chest pain, talk to a doctor before taking anything from this category.
What erection problems can indicate
The arteries involved are narrow, so they register damage early. Raised blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol sometimes show up here first — occasionaly years before anything else.
