Two problems this format solves

This is not a precaution that scales with dose. It applies to the smallest tablet as much as the largest, and it has no safe interval.

Interactions and limits

Alpha blockers need spacing. Ritonavir, ketoconazole and erythromycin raise levels and require a reduction. Grapefruit juice off the list for the day.

Not suitable with severe heart disease, recent heart attack or stroke, very low blood pressure, severe liver or kidney impairment, or inherited retinal disease.

Storage

Keep them in the blister, somewhere dry. Chewables absorb moisture far more readily than coated tablets, so the bathroom is the worst cupboard in the house, and heat makes them crumble.
